It’s all work and no play when it’s the ‘back to school’ season but at least with the change of climate, fun can be had with a few new Autumn pieces.

New Look has always provided fashion hits that fit any girl’s style and I love how easy and simply it was to create this outfit, perfect for the end of the year weather. With a ‘smart-office worker’ inspiration, it was fun to take an outfit fit for work and make it look trendy and current.
Midi skirts are back in this season and with pleats, prints and metallics, it’s a great time to experiment with this style by laying up with a long blouse or rock tee and finish with an oversized jumper or denim jacket. I thought this leopard skirt was great to dress up and as this print is back on top this season but it’s smart enough for that meeting with your boss Monday morning.

It’s just about cold enough for a full blown mammoth coat now but with running around I do, a big coat can be a bit of an annoyance. Laying is a great way to battle the chill and this overcoat I’m wearing here is perfect to team with a big fluffy jumper. Suitable for work and play, this is a lovely jacket that is built for laying and functionality.

Accessories are great for celebrating a new fashion moment and these shoes and bag are ideal staple items to keep your A/W wardrobe fresh and on point. This bag is so cute with its decorated embellishment which is a huge trend right now and these suede shoes are a fabulous day-night companion and are totally comfortable too.
