Winter Boho girl

The boho trend is normally reversed for the warmer season and floaty cottons. As this relaxed and chic style is one I love to embrace all year round, I thought I would try layering and rocking this look when its a little colder.

Zara had a little hint of Boho for AW16 and with it came this dress which is perfect for hiding my 30HH’s and giving a nod to this beloved trend. The red and white broidery is really striking against the cobalt blue and I just love the design and how authentic it looks. This dress is a great length too and would look gorgeous with some sandals for a summer evening for your holidays. This dress is a cotton and a linen mix but it’s thick enough to shield you from the cold and looks pretty cute with tights and some layers.

I’m becoming a real sucker for suede recently and after wearing this coat all over Paris when me and Amy went for our Mimi and Lolo project, I knew it would look great with this dress. Comfortable, versatile and stylish, it is a great staple item to have in any wardrobe and it can be worn across all seasons, year after year.

What trends are you embracing at the moment?

Dress – Zara

Jacket – ASOS

Bag – Anya Hindmarch

Shoes – Topshop
