It was great to meet Amy a few weeks ago and get these outfit pictures done. I love Gary doing mine normally but when you have a blogger friend do your pictures, you automatically experiment with different angles, looks and cool styles for each each shot. Amy loves using her 50mm for outfit pictures so we chopped and changed between her one and my big lense on my Nikon.
So apart from tech talk, let’s talk about this outfit.
Pinafores are huge this Spring and with the weather being a mix between mild and freezing, these dress style is a great way to layer for this time of year and get you in the mood for summer too. I love this one I am wearing from New Look. It has a slight corduroy feel to the material but it is truly easy to wear and it is fab dressed up or casual like I am wearing here.
Long jackets are key for keeping the winter wind out and this suede-like bomber jacket from Missguided is warm, cozy and cool. Available in this dark khaki, this jacket is a snip for only £40 and I wear it tons as it just goes with so many looks!
Comfortable brogues are so hard to find. Some are really tough that cut up your feet and never soften while some just don’t fit quite right. I was really shocked when I first tried on these cute dove grey and pink sole brogues from Tamaris. I swear it is one of the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever put on and I really dig how great they look with my outfit here. The whole structure and style of these shoes are just so on point and with a bouncy rubber sole, any girl could dance, walk or run in these brogues for hours.
Do you like Pinafores? They are so easy to wear for all shapes and sizes and they take me back to a part of my childhood which is a big plus too.
