I totally loved dressing up for our trip to Paris. Playing around with trends and mixing brands is something I love doing but I think this outfit here was my favourite one of the whole trip.
Drawing on inspiration from 70’s suede and embroidered gypsy dresses, I think this ensemble works really well and I love contrast of the jacket against a black outfit. This dress was definitely the starting point for my look and the slight bell sleeves, detailing and the tier cut just make this dress look so different from many others in its field. It’s uber comfortable too and it’s a great length for our changing season.
I wasn’t really sure when I first tried on this jacket from ASOS but I’m so pleased I stuck with it as it looks great here. Cut straight which is perfect if you want a longline look, this jacket complete does me in teamed with this dress and it looks great styled up or dressed down with shorts and a rock tee.
I wasn’t really sure at first about this cute Aspiga bag with my outfit but I’m glad I took a chance as I think some beading is just what the doctor ordered. With clashing colours and textures, a bag like this is what every girl needs in her life and it’s a great piece for rocking with a ‘going out’ look or taken to the beach to hold your essentials.
Amy went vintage boho too with her outfit(funny enough we didn’t plan to look like we were fresh off a page of ASOS magazine) and her bold accessories and cute shoes just work. Period.
