I love constructing a wardrobe when I go on my travels. I really enjoy deciding what new season pieces I want to showoff and it also gives me a excuse to pick something playful to wear for nights out with Gary.

I will admit there was pressure to pack something ‘too cool for school’ for my trip to Paris(see what I packed here), but when I’m on trips with Gary, I like to pick pieces that are comfortable, cute and make me feel good too.

On a recent trip to St.Malo, Gary and I and were invited to experience the town via a tour with Brittany Ferries and the Brittany Tourism board(see our adventure here). I knew a lot of walking around would occur and with temperatures a little undecided, I packed this cute ensemble from New Look. Using inspirations from current trends, I wanted a soft, girlie look that was playful and a contrast against this baseball inspired jacket. The was ideal to wear to protect me from the early morning chill and the ditsy vest top is such a great sample item.
The shoes were a great choice with this outfit too. I had never worn them before this trip but my feet were totally fine in them even though we did walk a few miles and the tie feature is just so on trend and looked chic too.

I’m so happy with this outfit that I think I need to wear it again!
