I decided to have a little fun with this outfit post and get my skate board out and have a play around! I haven’t been on one properly since I was a kid but I managed to do a 360 spin without coming off so I was pretty impressed with my balance. As Dr Martens are a very streety style brand, I can imagine kids through the 70’s and 80’s skating in their DM’s as the shoes are so hard wearing and comfortable to boot.
So apart from skateboards and tumbles, I wanted to show you Dr Martens’ latest cool campaign. The brand are always digging out gems from their archives and I love their latest collection called Spirit of ’69. Celebrating the brand’s iconic styles of 1969, as well as cool shoes, boots and some clothing, Dr Martens have also unleashed this awesome Oxblood Unisex bomber jacket. I love how ace and easy a jacket like this is to wear and it looks great with a check shirt and some beaten- up old denim! Available in Red and black, this jacket is so comfortable to wear and I think I will have fun mixing it up with floaty dresses and a grungy style as it has a real 90’s feel to it also.
To match this, I thought some new Dr Martens boots were in order. Bryony are these really cool chunky boots that loads of ladies are falling for! With a double buckle and lace fastening, even though these boots are a little heavy, you can tighten them up on your feet so they won’t move around and will be comfortable all day. As well as coming in Oxblood, they are also available in black but I love the red as they look utterly cool with this bomber jacket.
Check out Dr Martens’ Spirit of ’69 collection as they have some real great vintage style and the clothings pieces are really great too!
