Summer is nearly here. The days are growing longer, nights are shorter and the feel of the sun on our skin is heavenly.

As summer is just around the corner, it’s time for those summer must-have outfits for day and night. But if your clothes in your wardrobe is a bit dull, here are a few outfits ideas for casual and nighttime outings.

Sundresses

Whether they are long, short, colorful, or bohemian, sundresses come in all styles and remain a classic summer item.

For a casual look, choose a patterned sundress of your favourite summer colours. Lavender, yellow, mosaic blue, coral pink, grape compote, or mint are wonderful options available to buy online or instore. These dresses can come as an off-shoulder, strapless, halter, or even a fallen-shoulder design but all will still have the same classic effect.

When those nighttime moments present a wardrobe nightmare for you, pick your favourite sundress. Combined with a leather jacket to keep out any chills, that casual sundress can turn into a fab nightlife outfit. Add in a pair of heels, and you are ready to go.

White T-Shirt

It sounds bizarre, but a white t-shirt can be paired with anything. Are you heading out shopping? Wear your crisp white tee with a patterned skirt and pair it with sandals or flats. If skirts are not an option, try some shorts or even dungarees.

You could also choose to wear highwaisted jeans, a blazer, carry a statement bag and finish off with heels for a night out on the town look.

Boyfriend Jeans

Boyfriend jeans are great for versatility. Not only are they comfortable but anyone can turn them into a day or evening look.

Use sandals, flats or any open-toe shoes for a casual look and an oversized blazer and converses for an evening at a bar.

Pro-Tip

Dig through your wardrobe and donate anything that no longer fits or that you haven’t touched in a year. Clothes you no longer need, take up a lot of space so have a good declutter to clear your wardrobe, room and mind.

Invest in stable items that are reusable and don’t easily go out of style. Falling into trends is fun and all, but is a  risk to the planet and more expensive in the long run.

If you are undecided on what clothes to keep and donate, wear them out and even ask your friends to capture some images so you can see what you like and don’t like.

Now that more weddings are happening this year, it’s the perfect time to invest in a new wedding outfit too. Just don’t forget to ask one of the wedding photographers near me to grab a snap of you in your fabulous get-up.
