I really couldn’t wait to show you this cute outfit that I put together. Gary shot it about a month ago when there was an odd warm spell but since then I have had campaigns and reviews that needed to be done.
But now it’s finally here.
The weekend that I put this outfit together was rather a special one. My good friend Craig who I have known for many years dropped by our house for a slumber party of booze and films and we just nipped out to get some flowers and food supplies when Gary grabbed these shots for me.
Whenever I do pictures like this with Gary, I always get shy so it was great to have Craig there was he was making me laugh every second.
As I love dressing like I did when I was in Primary School, it was great to wear this uber cute print dress from The Whitepepper that makes me feel like a kid again. I am a huge fan of the brand so wearing this puppy was like a dream and I just love the oriental cartoon print that is repeated throughout. It is one of the most comfortable dresses I have ever worn and it’s going to get thrown on tons of times during spring and summer.
To match such a busy and cute dress, I thought that this badge faux leather jacket from Zara was perfect! It’s more than I like to pay for something that isn’t leather(it’s £59!) but I just totally adore the embellishment that are all over the front and it just fits me so well too! It’s a great seller for Zara but there are just a few left so if you want one, be quick and get yours now!
To finish such a statement look, I really needed some cool accessories that were bright and fun. I have a few Kipling pieces currently at home, including a few personalised bags so I know how good their product is. As Summer is on the horizon, the brand have created a package of wonderful bright pieces including this uber cute backpack. As backpacks give me a mental hard-on, it was fab to wear this bag with this look and it has since become a great travel buddy and it’s perfect for work and throwing my shit in. The colour is just intense too and I love how it matches my pink roses which was completely by accident.
Espadrilles are everywhere this season but finding a good pair that are comfortable can be a hard. I have tried a few from various places but these sandals from Boden are just so yummy! Made from a super soft suede, these shoes have been worn a dozen times already and I really love the tassel ties and their metallic tips. They do sometimes need but with them tightened up, they are a dream to wear and are also available in Grey and this cute Camel colour I am wearing here.
