Michael Van Der Ham S/S 2015 – London Fashion Week

Michael Van Der Ham SS15 I have totally and utterly fallen for Michael Van Der Ham’s SS15 collection. As well as the pieces having heavy embellished influrences with drapes and full skirts, I just think the collection is so romantic and reminds me of Great Expectations(1998 film with Ethan Hawke – No idea why).

Along with sheer dresses skimming your legs and knitted/crochet tops, the pieces just look totally wearable and have such a ease about them.

I especially like the chunky pink Mary-Jane platforms that give a vintage hit to the collection that feels like the 1940’s but with a modern and colourful twist.  It’s the first time I have been to a MVDH show and I think there is much to see from this cool and fresh designer and I can’t wait to see more!
