Trainers are key to running and something comfortable and durable is always needed to keep you going.  I have never tried Merrell trainers before but I am definitely converted after wearing these puppies.  I have been training for a half marathon that I took part in last week and finding the right footwear that can sustain you for 14 miles is hard. You never know until you start wearing them whether they are going to rub or whether they will be uncomfortable.

To start wearing these Merrell trainers in, I thought a short bike ride would be a great way to see how they fitted. Lucky for me, they were super comfortable so I knew I could wear them for running.  When I wore them for my first run, I only did a short distance of 2 mile but these trainers really lived up to their expectations. The soles are incredibly bouncy so they reduced the impact to my knee’s and the top part of the shoe hugged my foot very comfortably but there was no chaffing or rubbing.

I think Merrell are a great brand to wear for running and really you can wear their different styles of footwear for bike riding, hiking and even more!

Question is, do you have a favourite trainer from Merrell? I think these are pretty ace too!
