Day 2 of London Fashion week and I was again, having a rather cute, PINK moment. I love experimenting with colour and I love this Boohoo duster coat so much that I knew I had to play around with some pieces to suit it. It’s such a comfortable piece to throw on and I think it looks lovely with this rather beach casual style that I have gone for here.
This palm print dress is from Superdry and is one of my favourite pieces in my wardrobe at the mo. I know SS14 is pretty much over but I just love the fit and cut of this gorgeous skate style dress. It is really flattering in the chest area(which is ideal for me) and it’s a great length too so you don’t have to worry about flashing anyone if the wind picks up. It’s in a really comfy cotton too and I know this will be perfect for a last minute holiday in the sun.
When you picture shoes for Fashion week, you are probably thinking about high heels and cute brogues. Well as someone who likes to be rather different, I thought this outfit was a good time to really show off these awesome Ottawa boots from Caterpillar in the Honey. As you can imagine these boots are stupidly comfortable and they were a dream to wear all day! I have been to that place where your shoes are rubbing yet you have 5 hours left to go so for me, Fashion week has to be a soft and gentle experience for my feet and these boots fit the bill perfectly.
I am not really one for Tiara’s or things that are too girly for my head but I had to wear this amazing Crown head piece from Johnny loves rosie. It is TOTALLY amazing because A), it looked THE nads and B) it’s called the ‘Lois’ crown so it was totally meant to be! I just love the flowers and the injection of pastel colours and the lace part of the crown is a dream to look at. Many people stopped me for a picture of this head gear and I’m not surprised by all the positive comments it has been getting too.
Statement clutches are HUGE right now and I think this clutch from Catseye London was perfect to carry at LFW. It was ideal with this look because of the pink and I think the retro style print kind of matches my style too. This clutch was the perfect size to get all my bits and pieces in and it was so easy to tuck under my arm and dash here, there and everywhere. You can get this clutch for just £2.50 so hurry as it won’t be around for long!
