London Fashion week has been a rather strange one this season. Normally around this time, the weather is warm and everyone is in a specially good mood but with the recent temperature drop and rainy spells, everyone has been heading inside and even street style has been on the decline. Dressing for Fashion week can be tricky when the weather is up and down so I have been mainly showcasing A/W pieces and it has proven to be very successful.
To start off with, I thought I would mix some key textures for my first outfit and this ASOS leather dungarees dress was a great start off point. With it’s extremely soft leather and casual cut, this dress is a pure staple item and will be on-trend for a long time. It’s also great to mix and match with jumpers, tee’s and shirts but maybe buy a slighty bigger size so you have room to move.
To match with leather, I wanted something that was an extreme contrast and this plaid/check shirt from Superdry was ideal! With brown elbow patches and a soft, thick cotton, this shirt is going to be a favourite of mine for A/W and looks so striking with this outfit.
I don’t know why but so far I have worn a hat everyday for Fashion week this season and I have loads to showcase. This studded beanie received tons of positive comments when I wore this on the first day and I think you may like it too! With soft studding which makes it nice and safe to wear, this hat looks a lot more expensive then it is and it just shows that Miss Guided are totally on it this season!
Talking of Miss Guided, comfortable shoes are a must for LFW and these sporty ones from the brand were lovely to showcase. With a 90’s style that is retro but so NOW, these grey jersey heels were totally wearable and kept my feet totally pain-free.
Bags are essential for Fashion week and I fell in love with this Superdry purse and had to use it! With a Xbody strap and lots of compartments, it was great to fit in my phone, travel card, change and cards and was really lightweight to carry around all day.
To finish off this look, I wanted to do some layering. I have recently started working with Lacoste and I love their new Lacoste L!VE collection. This spotted skirt is part of their A/W range and I like the way it popped underneath the dungarees dress. This skirt is total must and looks adorable with a Breton style top or a statement jumper and I will definitely be wearing this skirt on Bunnipunch again soon!
