I would love to say that London Fashion Week has been enjoyable so far but sadly the weather has really drowned everyone’s spirits. It’s been cold, wet, extremely windy and rather dull so of course, I wanted my outfits to be a complete contract of that!
I think colour is always a good way to experiment with new brands, texture and print and I wanted to go a little out of my comfort zone and wear something that I wouldn’t normally wear.
Print clashing is something I am experimenting with currently as my wardrobe is generally anything but plain. I first saw this Oliver Bonas Jumper through their lookbook and I thought it was a good idea to dress up and also keep warm in. I don’t know how it happened but the jumper seems to work really well with this oriental style jacket from Monsoon so they must have been meant for each other!! The Jacket is a slim fitted style but has a slight quilted feel and is ideal for this weather we are having. The jumper is also great for keeping warm and comes in a really soft fabric.
Choosing the right accessories can be more important than the outfit sometimes and this pink and navy bag from Paul’s Boutique really bought the whole look together. It’s a fairly decent size and big enough to get all my key essentials in and I love its structured shape and mental X-body strap. I also wanted to wear these cute pastel mental bracelets from Accessorize and I think they look really work well with my look and finish off the outfit nicely.
