I spend a fair bit of time at Somerset house, so when Me and the Hubby decided to go and do some ice skating there, it was nice to experience this historic venue at a NON-fashion and rushy event. If you haven’t had time to go to Somerset House and do some skating at Christmas, I strongly suggest you do. From early November to around January 10th, you can book tickets and have over an hour of fun skating for about £12 each. If you go during peak times you can pay double that but as long as you book in October/November, you can book when it is cheaper but be quick as it does sell out fast!
I have ice skated a few times before so it was easy to get back onto the rhythm when we had a go and it was nice to skate around with families and see all the kids learning with their parents. It was rather romantic too and I loved holding hands with Gary while we skated around until we were both tired out.
Overall I had a really nice day and it was lovely to spend quality time with Gary and enjoy London at the weekend!
As we finished skating just as the sun started to set, I asked Gary to take these pictures of me! It’s been a while since I have done an outfit post as I was ill over Christmas and NY so it was nice to show off these amazing boots!
I have been dying to wear these kickers over since I got them and with a double platform, these desert boots are AMAZING to wear!! You can imagine that these beauties are really comfortable(which they are) and I just love the colour and contrast cream stitching which is famous with most Kickers boots! Made with a really soft leather that is actually splash proof, these kickers are well worth an investment and believe me, you will fall for them as much as I have.
After we took these pictures we had a wander down to the Moschino store as I wanted to see what goodies they had for me to perv at. Funny enough there was a certain bag that I have wanted for ages and when I saw they had one left and it was in the sale, I knew it was meant to be! It was lucky as I had some birthday money left over and I knew it was a worthwhile investment and was something pretty for me to stare at too! I won’t spoil the surprise and tell you which one I got but it’s all over my Instagram here!
So have you been to Somerset house? Would love to hear what adventures you have had there!?

Love your sense of fashion! It’s always nice to schedule some time to have fun, especially during the winter when we’re used to being cooped up inside 🙂
