How to make sweet potato fries

Dieting can be tough. Unless you plan out your meals and shop in advance, your new diet may only last about a week. As me and the hubby are only eating natural food with natural ingredients (see my first blog about it here), creating new dishes and experimenting is key to keeping your diet fun.

I have always loved fries and as I like anything sweet, I thought sweet potato fries would be perfect to add to any meal just for an added twist.

To make your own, just follow these simple steps:

* Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees

* Select two sweet potatoes that are round and fat

* Cut them into fries/wedges shapes – Mind your fingers!

*Once you have enough for 2(or 3 or 4) people, pop them into a mixing bowl and add vegetable or sunflower oil

*Now you can have them plain or add some seasoning (I love garlic & rosemary)

*Mix

*Place grease proof paper on a baking tray and lay out your fries

*Place in the oven and cook for 12 minutes

*Once your 12 minutes are up, take out the baking tray and flip over the fries and do the other side

*After another 12 minutes, you’re done!

Serve and enjoy!
