As I’m on the road to reinventing my look, I thought it was about time I turned up the heat!
Lee Stafford the famous hair guru, has a great selection of styling tools on offer (all pink I might add), and when I saw this chopstick curling wand, I knew it was time to have a go.
I have a natural curl to my hair already but with a wand this small, I knew I could create gorgeous ringlets that would transport me back to the 80’s! (Great time that was).
It’s best to do this on day old hair as the curls will stay tight for longer then if your hair was freshly washed so keep that in mind.
After sectioning your hair, start curling each strand around the wand and hold for about 5-7 seconds. It’s better to make the hair strands as small as you can so there are more curls overall. I have a lot of hair so to do my whole head took about 40 mins but I think the results are well worth it. If you have heat protection gloves, I would wear these too so you don’t burn yourself on the wand when wrapping each strand around.
(Yes I did burn my fingers a few times).
Maybe have a look at my video below and use as a guide as I have sped up the whole process so you can see how easy it is to do.

I think the curls do look extra striking too due to my pink hair which proves this look can suit anyone regardless of their hair colour!
Have fun using the styling ward people and remember to let them cool down somewhere safe!
You can buy this great wand here and here.

It may have taken a while but this look is so wonderful. It’s every girl’s dream to have bubblegum curly hair and the undercut is so modern – I can’t help but be super jealous of this hair but also loving this style re-invention! I think the curls work particularly well on such light pink hair because the shadows really help the colour out. It’s so much fun and the orange lippy just adds to that.
