I always enjoy attending Gyunel’s shows over LFW and their latest outing for SS16 is one of their best yet! But before I tempt you with pictures of the show, I firstly have these really cool shots to share that I took when I was backstage.

It’s always hard to get good snaps behind the scenes as you are always fighting for space with other photographers and trying to capture that great pose but lucky for me I had time to hang out there for a while and grab these amazing moments.

It was great to see the model’s doing their test run and I completely fell for their ring plaits hairstyle when I saw them all line up together. They looked pretty 90’s grunge with this look but it was a great contrast when I finally saw the collection.

The makeup for the show was pretty minimal with hints of turquoise and white to match the clothing and the natural complexions that were donned for the show will be perfect for summertime too.

I love these pictures. I was lucky enough that some of the girls posed for me when they were waiting for the show to begin and they look gorgeous and ready to show off Gyunel’s new collection.

Inspirations of another world and Greek Goddesses came through for me in the new collection and eye prints and playful laser cut squares gave certain pieces a hint of a more modern twist.

The colour pallet too was ideal for the warm months with ocean blues, creamy whites, emerald green and black highlights will help the collection integrate into many girlie’s wardrobes for 2016.
