Getting ready for Nordgreen’s Black Friday

Black Friday, it’s slowly coming our way, and if you are looking for something a little special for yourself or a loved one, then look no further than Nordgreen! (I’m currently offering 15% off now and 35% off from 21st November – 1st December with code: BUNNI)

Nordgreen began its story in 2017 when Pascar Sivam and Vasilij Brandt wanted to build a brand that is sustainable and aesthetically pleasing. Nordgreen envisioned its brand and timepieces with award-winning Chief Designer Jakob Wagner, who earned his acclaim by designing for Bang & Olufsen, Hay, B&B Italia, and Cappellini for starters. The brand name Nordgreen comes from “Nord”, which is characteristic of the Nordic identity, and “Green” which embodies the brand’s commitment to the environment.

Nordgreen’s vision is to be a sustainable watch brand that changes the way we view a timepiece. By partnering with NGOs to support urgent global causes, raising funds for ThanksGive in South Korea and the brand even contributed to reforestation efforts in Australia due to the devastating fires that destroyed 15 million acres of the country’s forests. Not many brands can say that!

So as well as helping the planet, Nordgreen is also creating wearable watches that have interchangeable straps and faces to extend the product’s life. There are vegan, leather, mesh and nylon straps to suit any wearers, and the brand also has a selection of rose gold, gold, gunmetal and silver faces in different styles and sizes. Customising each product this way is great if you are looking to buy a gift for someone or if you want a specific style, colour and look.

I love a big face on a watch and Philosopher and Native are a great size at 40mm. The men’s pioneer watch is also a good size at 42mm and I love the background dials and chunky look.

The other feature I like about Nordgreen is that there is a selection of different dial colours to choose from. You can choose the classic white or black but there is also navy which I think looks stunning in the Native.

If you feel like Nordgreen is the right brand for you, why not take advantage of their Black Friday sale? You can enjoy a cool 15% off now and 35% off from 21st November – 1st December with discount code BUNNI. So why not treat yourself or someone you love?

If you need some inspiration for what watch to buy, as you will see from these pictures, I’m wearing the Native model. Available for both men and women, the Native has a sleek and simple face that is available in 3 sizes, 32, 36 and 40mm. I’m wearing the 40mm in the rose gold which I think looks really chic. It is also available in silver, gold, and gunmetal which also looks pretty cool. As I mentioned earlier, you can order the dial in the white or black but I decided on the navy as I really like the look of this colour against the rose gold. Strap wise, I do normally go for the leather option (which you can get black, brown, white, grey and pink), but I decided to give the vegan grey strap a go and see how it would wear from day to day as wearing more vegan products could be a permanent change for me.  What do you think? Do you like the Native? It’s such a great look watch!
