Films for June

With Jurassic World out this month there is only one real reason why I am heading to the cinema this June.  If Dinosaurs aren’t your thing then don’t worry, just sit back with your feet up at home and enjoy some of these delightful films now out on DVD.

It’s the last installment for the The Hobbit now and from the start of the battle of the five armies, this movie promised to be action packed, thrilling and a little sad in certain spots. I won’t give too much away but if you haven’t seen the last of the trilogy, then make sure you do. With Bilbo’s last step towards returning to the shire, the group face battles from all directions. With the elves, dwarfs and humans having their own internal struggles, they eventually see the path to a better future for them all. With tons of action and even a 3D DVD box set to enjoy, this is a great movie for us all and is even better to enjoy in the comfort of your own home.

the hobbit the battle of the five armies reviewTHE HOBBIT: THE BATTLE OF FIVE ARMIESI am a huge fan of Aardman so it was a great opportunity to watch Shaun the sheep the movie and see his latest adventure. With slapstick comedy and a few toilet jokes, this one is definitely suited to a younger audience but still made me laugh in a few places. As a simple but easy film to watch, it’s fun and silliness will make you smile for sure and it is worth seeing with any Kids whether they are old or young. Shaun the Sheep the Movie
