Film fun with Rooftop Film Club and Nespresso

I am totally fanatic about film….

Ok, so, you might not get that impression from my blog but when it comes to film, I love discussing directors, scores, plots and sequels with Gary and any friend that will dare to debate.

As summer is the perfect time to watch some great movies outside, those lovely people at Rooftop Film Club recently asked me along to their Stratford location to enjoy a great movie with friends and even enjoy some yummy cocktails in collaboration with Nespresso. Now a coffee-martini may sound odd but it was bloody delicious and the clever barstaff at the venue, got the mix of Nespresso and alcohol down to a tea.

With funky cocktails and yummy hotdogs were also on offer from Rockadollar, the Rooftop Film Club is great if you just want to catch movie, you could have a go of crazy golf, catch up with friend while lounging on comfy seats and generally have a bloody good time.

There are some great films on show at the moment via Rooftop Film Club but as me and Gary hasn’t seen ‘The Martian’ yet, we decided that was the film for us and our friends Del and Vitality didn’t seem to mind either.

With deckchairs all neatly laid out and cosy blankets to keep us warm, I loved watching a film on a rooftop right by Westfield shopping centre and even though we didn’t use headphones to watch the film, we could hear the dialogue perfectly.

We also managed to get some funny snaps in the photo booth that was there but I must confess, the cocktails had gone to the boy’s heads by then…
