Summer is always the best of times. The sun is shining, the birds are singing and it’s always the best moment to enjoy a fruity beauty injection with L’Occitane. To celebrate these warmer months, the brand has created a new collection of fruity lip products and masks that will scrub, sooth and give you some luscious colour.
As I am a huge fan of the brands, it was lovely to review some of this new collection and show you how fabulous they really are.
Face
Even though our skin does better in the summer compared to winter, it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t give it a little love. L’Occitane has 3 new masks that do 3 separate jobs. The Radiance face scrub works to exfoliate the skin with harvested pomelos from Corsica, the Soothing face mask made with blackcurrants and rich in magnesium and calcium, leaves your face feeling softer and the Purifying face mask made with organic thyme, immediately absorbs excess sebum and gently exfoliates leaving your skin cleansed and imperfections smoothened.
I was able to have a closer look at the Soothing face mask and Purifying face mask and both are utterly lush. I love the quality of the masks and their smell and texture are so luxurious. They left my face feeling like new and these masks will be perfect in the winter too when I need some fruitiness in my life.
Lips
L’Occitane’s new lip products are also to die for! There are lipsticks and balms in the new collection and I love them all. The Red-y to play fruity lipstick is my new best friend. It gives off a gorgeous red berry colour but moistures your lips at the same time. It lasts long too and doesn’t leave your lips feeling dry and tired. I also adore the Provence calling fruity lipstick in this gorgeous violet. Even though the colour looks striking, it isn’t too bright so you can wear day to night and it is such a great colour for summer.
I also tried the Miss Grenadine tinted balm in this hot coral. It is the perfect product to carry in your bag for day to day life and is a great hit of hydration with a hint of natural colour.
If you fancy trying some of these gems, you can buy them all below. I would love to hear what you think!
