Editor’s Hit List – Coat Trends A/W 2013

Coats A/W 2013It’s sad to say but coats and all winter things are hitting our stores and mapping out the new season for us. As us Brits don’t start to feel the cold until October, most of these gorgeous and fashion forward styles would have sold through so why not invest in a trend-leading coat that will keep you warm for the colder months and you will have something to look forward to when the weather turns decidedly chilly.

Monochrome is making a huge comeback for A/W and these are some of the best pieces I have seen gliding our way. What’s also good about this trend, is you can have fun experimenting with the different textures and cuts.

4) Crumpet CashmereCoats A/W 2013I am loving this oversized, mannish style and these are just some of my favourites I have seen online and in stores. You can either go for a straight cut look which your boyfriend may also be wearing or go yards ahead and wear a cocoon style cut.

Coats A/W 2013Fake fur is always a good way to dress up and have fun but it seems the ‘Animal’ trend has taken on a whole new meaning. With Crocodile effects, Neon Leopard print and a faux fur coat made from Muppet fur, Animal styles are here for A/W 2013.
