Dusk is a beautiful time in London. The lighting is great at this time and if taken advantage of, you can get some lovely pictures. Amy and myself met a few weeks back as we had a restaurant review booked up and when ever we meet up, we try and fit in taking pictures of our outfits for our blogs. I feel we have been pretty lucky with the weather recently and this late sunny day was no exception. When we took a walk towards Russell Square on the way to the restaurant, we happened upon this cute little street and knew we had to take advantage of the light through the tress. Best of all, it was pretty much people free too which is rare for any London street.

As we had a great setting, I really wanted to show off these amazing boots and my new bag that I have splurged on recently. There was little of a colour clash but I thought that didn’t matter as they looked so cute together!

ASOS have some great footwear options at present and when I saw these amazing denim motif ankle boots, I knew I had to have them. With numbers and even a sneaky tiger on the the back of the heel, they are really unique and selling out fast so if you want them, get them here.

Now I don’t normally ‘shop’ through Instagram but I totally fell head over heels when I saw this Pinko bag on bloggers’ channel. I’m not sure what I love most… the slogan, the colour, the leather… regardless they all work and this is a bag that I will love forever! The suede laying inside is as plush as a velvet cushion and every time I use it I feel special and on top of the world. (Well I think fashion should be like this all the time, shouldn’t it). It’s a bag I have styled with 3 outfits already and I’m sure it will go to Paris when Amy and myself go in July.

Now you may have not known this but I have terrible eyesight. I have been wearing glasses since I was about 5 and even though I normally wear lenses as I go to the gym a lot, it’s always good to give your eyes a good rest. Now as I like my own way of dressing, finding good glasses that are stylish and cool can be a nightmare. Well thankfully I came across Crosseyes. This cool brand have a few stores in London and what is great about the brand is that they shop for their frames in cool places like Japan and only do a small buy so you will always have a pair that is much pretty much unique to you. Croseseyes have tons of choice and they update their stock monthly so you will never get bored of the options they have. I found loads of styles I liked when I recently paid them a visit but I just fell in love with these cool purple frames that are dip-dyed white. They are a little oversized maybe for most but that’s how I like my glasses and they go with so many styles of outfits too. The brand also do eye tests in their stores so you can get all your eye care in one place and they are super affordable too. What more could you ask for?

Now for such statement accessories, I thought a toned down clothing was needed.

I have been wearing a few cute things from Boden recently but I thought it was about time that I tried out this relaxed linen stripe shirt. Created with oversized in mind, it is stupidly comfortable to wear and comes in a range of colours. I thought I would use it as a contrast against this dusky pink lace skirt and I think it seems to work pretty well.

Do you like this outfit? Is there any particular pieces that jump out at you?

Glasses – Crosseyes
