Dinner with London Riviera, South Bank

Pop up restaurants and cinemas are helping get us outside more and among these saviours is the London Riviera. Situated along South Bank just by the Mayor’s office, this tropical venture really embraces that reflexed summer feel that all Londoners crave. Double sun loungers and colourful tables instantly give a holiday feel to this pop-up and with cute flamingo tables(I really need one of these) and uber friendly staff, it’s the perfect place to chill out with your mates after work.

Funny enough that’s what I did last week with my friend Phiroza and it totally helped us unwind and relax after a busy day.

Colourful salads, mouth watering lamb and cooked halloumi were all on the menu and we both couldn’t get enough! I also washed it down with a coconut vodka and Coke which ticked my sweet tooth box and really complimented our beachy style dinner.

It’s a little less busy during the week but it is a great place to grab some amazing grub and chin wag with your mates. You can even go for after work drinks which I bet the staff from the Mayor’s office have done since it launched a few months ago. Tower hill is a good stop to get off tube wise as you can then enjoy a nice walk across Tower Bridge before experiencing some tasty food and drink.

The pop-up is there until October so make sure you check it out. It’s well worth it!
