You may have seen that my twitter feed recently has been a little Crocs mad! After being approached to work with the brand, I was pretty excited to style Crocs new S/S 2013 shoes and show that London style is the perfect way to edge up these normal and fairly simple shoes. Thankfully the rain kept at bay on the shoot but the cold wind really did get up my skirt! So Me and Photographer Bill Roy, had a little wander around East London and tried to capture my style and London in these shots.
I hope you like them!
So outfit one, I wanted to show that a real urban and cool look could work with these cute pink slip-on crocs. I teamed a Lazy Oaf long top and Calvin Klein jeans to layer up against the bad weather. Finishing off the outfit with a Snapback from New Era and a funky bag from Vans, I think I pulled off the carefree style that I sometimes appeal to on a Friday afternoon.
Look 2 and a complete contrast from the street and tomboy look of outfit 1. Wearing a very feminine and easy cotton dress from Pepa Loves, I wanted to show that a girlie and casual style can look great with Crocs Slip on’s in UltraViolet. As well as a soft Topshop denim jacket and vintage style belt from Marc Cain, I thought socks would also make the outfit look ultra girlie and I am happy with the results. For the last look, I had already worn the Pink slip on’s but I thought I would try them with a cute playsuit from Urban Outfitters. Matched with an oversized cape from Miss Guided and sunnies from New Look, this look is a lot more summer and beachie then the others but still highlights that Crocs shoes can be worn in anyway you want and will suit whatever style you rock. All images by Bill Roy
