Bora Aksu A/W 2014 – London Fashion Week

Bora Aksu A/W 2014Milk maids in puff sleeves and crepe collars was the inspiration I saw coming through Bora Aksu’s collection for A/W 2014 but biggest surprise of all was seeing so many delicate fabrics and feminine colours when normally Autumn/Winter can be rather dark and dull. Bora has always been a genius for creating soft shapes and girlie styles but I find the designer is growing rapidly and is becoming more and more popular with the London Fashion Week players.

Injections of baby pink and mustard yellow gave the contrasting fabrics and styles some edge but the deep reds and navys gave the collection a more winter uniform.

Cropped jumpers and full skirts gave these pieces some volume and POW but the soft waisted dresses and oversized jackets brought a more modern look to the collection and finished it off showing a wearable and likeable combo.
