For those who know me, black is not a colour I wear often. With a huge sense of wanting to wear colour, I thought I would tone down my look and do something a little different.
Marc Cain are a label I wear every season as they do partial and comfortable pieces that are ideal for work, rest and play. These baggy smart trousers are so comfortable and I love wearing them with heels or Wedge trainers.
Bags are a good way to dress up black and I love this Lip bag from Helen Rochfort. With a clasp opening and 40’s style cut, this bag is so cute and can easily hold your phone, make-up and purse for Day or night.
Wedge trainers sadly have started to spread like wild-fire but I love it when you find some that are really different. Bronx have unleashed their own version that has a retro look and has an inspiration from the 1970’s. With a rubber sole, these trainers are SO comfortable and I don’t feel the wedge at all.
With the ‘Cross’ and gothic trend at its height for A/W, Miss Guided have created these gorgeous Cross jumpers that are warm and fashionable. They come in a variety of colours but the black looked more classic and I love the embroidered motif on the front.
I love finding new designers and sites and Red Brick is one of the best I have ever come across. They contacted me about doing a blog and I utterly love all of their orignal pieces! The ‘Bird in the hand’ necklace I am wearing is very good quality and comes in a thick metal design.
With their unique printed scarves and necklaces, Red Brick are great for gifts and finding something a little different for you or someone special.
