Beauty treats to wear for Valentine’s Day

With Valentine’s Day fast approaching, now is the perfect time to experiment with beauty treats for that are ideal for springtime.

For this time of year it’s nice to play about with delicate glitter, pastel pinks and big eyes for a real impact look against the cold, harsh weather. To achieve this look I am wearing, I started with Bourjois 24H eyeshadow in silver. Using one of AOFM’s pro brushes, I applied the shadow to my eyelidsand a little underneath my eye. It is a really easy eyeshadow to wear and the texture is almost like a luxurious gel. It’s a great eyeshadow to wear everyday and I love how it looks with the pink of my hair. For a pop of colour on my eyes, this Gel Eyeliner from Bobbi Brown in Sapphire was just perfect! I love the navy statement appearance it shows on my eyes and it is an easy day to night transition item that is very simple and quick to apply.

I love big eyes and Maybelline’s Colossal Go Extreme is great for really making your lashes nice and bold. The brush is great to glide on the mascara and it doesn’t clog up or clump on your lashes either. Once my eyes were finished, I tried Balmi’s Strawberry lipbalm. I love the packaging it comes in and the balm is so soft and it smells AMAZING too! It also comes with a loop so you can even attach it to your keys so you will never leave it at home or in another bag. The balm contains Vitamin E, Shea Butter and Jojoba Oil so it’s all natural stuff and will leave your lips looking and feeling lush. As I love rosy cheeks, Miners have made a gorgeous Blush stick that adds a cheeky pink hint to your face. With a twist stick to control how much you use, this blusher is great for those who are new to rosy cheeks or who love new make up item to try. The blusher feels so smooth when it is applied and with uber cute packaging and colour, this item is a steal and perfect for spring to summer.
