Lush and me go way back. When I first started living in London I would always drift around Piccadilly Circus due to hanging out with me boys and I used to use this route when I walked home from a night out. As I knew this area and soho pretty, I would always pop into the Lush store that was just at the end of Regent Street. The smell of dreamy bath bombs and yummy soaps would hit you as soon as you walked in and even though it was a small store, there was plenty of products on show and the staff were very friendly too.

Now it’s 2015, I’m happily married and about to buy a house and Lush? Well they have moved on too.

Gone are the days of small dwellings and pokey stores, Lush have gone up in the world and are currently showing off their fantastic products on Oxford Street. Now to have a store along London’s most famous shopping street is no small feet but when I had a recent visit to the store to see all its splendor, it was great to see the store manic with energy and full of happy customers and staff.

It’s a vast space (3 floors to be exact) and each floor has its own vibe and product.

The basement was a big surprise for me as it was very relaxing with spa treatments, the brand’s perfumes and an interaction area to show off their influences and places where you can crash and enjoy the experience. The Journey through the different fragrances was really interesting and with staff filled with the knowledge of each product and its creation, you could walk away with something pretty special from this floor.

With a short ride in the lift which is pretty calming in itself with birds singing in there(recording only), I was shown to the top floor where all the magic happens. Gifts and bath time fun reside on this floor and with a kids area available for them to play with bars of FUN(doubles up as shampoo, soap and looks like play doe), this area is basically perfect for play time for all. There’s even sinks littered about for staff to demonstrate and show off how cool the bath bombs are! It’s great if you are not sure what to expect from these little balls of joy and it’s pretty fun to watch the water change colour and take on a life of its own.

The last floor I saw of this giant store was the ground level. It’s definitely the most busy as this is where the footfall comes off Oxford Street but it’s the floor that holds more products and new things that we should try. Shampoo, condition, creams for your face and even makeup are cleverly placed throughout the room and there’s even a salon style set up on this floor so customers can try some of the hair products on offer before they buy. I also loved all the makeup products they have which come in great packaging(would not expect anything else) and Lush have tons of bright colours and cute products for us girlies to try.

If you have never tried Lush or you are a huge fan, I would say this store is well worth a visit either way! I had a great time with Rob who works at the there and he was kind enough to show me every area of this great place and we even tried out some of the products too!

It is also a great shop to pop into for your Christmas shopping and the happy vibe and chatty staff will always help you feel special.
