I love Paris. The romantic city feels me with with warm memories of 5 seasons of Paris Fashion Week, a trip with friends in my early 20’s and just recently myself and Amy went for our little blogger project, Mimi and Lolo.
Now I do know Paris pretty well but that doesn’t mean I don’t get lost from time to time.
Thankfully Me and Amy had a very helpful friend accompany us on our trip in the shape of Marco Polo. Equipment with tons of info and maps, these great guide books show the best places to visit and we were able to walk around Paris with the knowledge that if we get lost we have our guide books with us.
I know many people maybe thinking, why not use your map on your phone? True you can do this but I find that whenever I go to Paris and have to turn on my dreaded data roaming, the signal is never that great and it’s costing me/you A LOT of money every time you try and download your map. I’m pretty old school too and love having a map in my bag so I can refer to it wherever I am.
We did tons of walking around Paris while we were there so this little guidebook was a godsend. With 3 restaurant reviews and loads of outfit posts to capture, we didn’t have a huge time to do some tourist things but we still had a chance to go to the Effie Tower and visit the Grand Palais where I once entered to see Chanel’s AW runway show. It is an amazing venue and of course Mr Karl Lagerfeld makes it look totally different very season…
If you haven’t been to Paris before or its been a while since your last visit, Marco Polo’s Paris guidebook is definitely something you need to take on your trip. I love that it has restaurant listings, info on every tourist spot going and even a shopping guide which frankly is pretty important to Amy and me and any other fashionista.
Check out our cool videos below on what we got up to in the city and see our guidebooks in action.
