As I was recently invited to review the Amba hotel in Charing Cross, I decided it was time to introduce Gary to Balthazar in Covent Garden and have an amazing breakfast to start the day fresh.
With a wide selection of breakfasts, amazing pastries and comfy booths, it was really nice to sit back, relax and eat before our busy day of the cinema, shopping and outfit posts.
As I am a huge lover of pancakes, it was a great excuse to try Balthazar’s option of these and they were even kind enough to let me have strawberries and cream as an extra topping. I wasn’t surprised at all that Gary did order a classic Fry-up and when it arrived it was beautifully presented and even made me jealous with how yummy it looked. (Not knocking the pancakes as they were amazing too).
The restaurant itself is classically laid out and I really love the interior and the design that has gone into Balthazar. With amazingly friendly staff that are always on hand to assist you in any way, it’s a great restaurant to visit at any time of the day and you will really enjoy your time and the food there too.
With really affordable prices and a large selection of meals to choose from, Balthazar is a wonderful place for any occasion and would even be a good venue to visit for this Mother’s Day on Sunday.
