A stay with Ibis Hotel, The City, London

I love staying at Ibis hotels. I know exactly what I’m getting when I stay there and the staff are always super friendly and welcoming and it was great in fact to stay at the City branch for my Birthday just before Christmas. Everyone was in high spirits for the festive season and me and Gary had dinner plans to attend Frankie and Bennies that night and we even pre-booked Star Wars Rogue one in Piccadilly too.

What I also like about Ibis is that every hotel of theirs is different. They all have that Ibis feel when you walk in but each hotel has its own personality and creative flare.

The City branch is perfect for the business area as it is located so close to Fenchurch Street and with its plush designer seats and a relaxing bar area, its a cool hangout spot too. There is good tube connections too so it was easy to jump on the train and be in central in about 20 minutes.

After we had a little shopping trip and enjoyed some dinner and the film, it was really relaxing to know that we had a nice comfortable double bed waiting back at the hotel for us to climb into. Me and Gary are both very active/busy people and don’t get much sleep so having a stay at Ibis that night was a real treat for the body, mind and my birthday too.

If you fancy a trip to Ibis, click here to see where their hotels are based and as well as being uber stylish, they are very affordable too.
