I’m pretty lucky in my blogging life because as well as wearing gorgeous clothes and going to great events, I also get to stay in lovely hotels and on my birthday too!
As me and the fella are always up in London for 19th December, it was great to tie this yearly celebration in with a nights stay at the Amba Hotel at Marble Arch. It’s a fairly new hotel to the west end beat but with it’s perfect location, designer interior and friendly staff it’s already attracting visitors in their hoards and it’s easy to see why it’s always so busy.
We were warmly welcomed as soon as we entered this luxury building and with a quick check in and a short walk through plush corridors, we soon got to our room which was clean, comfortable and stylish.
Amba Hotels are very good at making you feel special. With added extras like a coffee machine and whatever you want from the fridge for free, these are just some of the little things that the company does to make your stay with them feel unique. They also have great staff that are well trained and will to help which really makes you feel relaxed and reassured.
Once we got settled in our room it was time to open my birthday presents!
As someone who is not the best person to buy for, getting presents can sometimes be a tense moment.
Lucky for me Gary pulled it out of the bag this year got me this amazing dress from The Whitepepper(which I already had in the blue) and his uber cute Rocket bag from Accessorize! I also got some lovely cards with some money too so overall I was officially spoilt.
Happy birthday to me!
Once all the present opening was done, we decided to head out into London and do some shopping. I do love London at Christmas time and with people excited for the festive period and our present shopping done, it was nice just to relax and have a walk around our capital.
After a quick bite at TGI fridays while we were out at 8pm, we were done! I couldn’t wait to fall into bed that night as I was really tired but also I knew the beds were comfortable at Amba too which was making me want to sleep even more!
Breakfast is also a very enjoyable affair at Amba hotel. After a lot of walking around the day before, it was lovely to relax and tuck into a decent breakfast which was tasty and full of flavour. As well as the typical english fry up, there was also the choice of pancakes, fruit, cheese, pastries, toast and much, much more. The only problem I had was that I wanted to eat it all.
I had a really good time staying at Amba Hotel Marble Arch. The staff were really friendly and helpful the whole time we were there and with such a great mix of customers, the word will soon spread that Amba is the best to stay in central London if you want comfort and a little luxury too.
