I have never seen Alessia Prekop’s collections before but I was in for a pleasant surprise. After doing a little research on the designer, Alessia’s A/W 13 collection is a strong contrast against her S/S 14 pieces. Instead of pouring her efforts into prints(which most LFW designers do), Alessia has concentrated on the shapes and textures of the fabrics to give them a rich and smart look for any lady. It reminds me of an office look that has been given a twist and a well deserved brush up. Colours such as violet, blush, pink, black and cream highlight the new silhouettes while the fabrics and textures give new life to these creative shapes that are more classic and chic which all wardrobes need from time to time.
