I just adore Paris. Every time I go, I fall more in love with the architecture, the culture, the clothes(of course) and I just adore finding new places to eat and stay.
I have been lucky enough to visit this beautiful city a fair few times for Paris Fashion Week, a blogger holiday with Amy, but for the first time, I would be going with Gary my hubby and best friend and I couldn’t wait.
Paris is known for its fabulous hotels and we were able to plan a stay at the Mon Hotel near the Arc de Triomphe. I had never stayed in that part of the city before so it was great to explore a new area and best yet, do it with Gary.
When we arrived at the hotel, I was so pleased to find it had all the right elements of Paris that I love. Cute balconies hung on the side of the building, classic mouldings around the windows and doors showed the hotel’s heritage and it was so close to the Arc de Triomphe that you would almost touch it.

The interior of Mon Hotel was pretty surprising too as it was classic and chic but had a real modern art deco feel. Pictures of Marilyn Monroe hung on the wall and modern furniture made the hotel feel completely and cool.
White tiled flooring was throughout the entrance and walkways and black accessories such as rugs, chairs and vases really highlighted how chic the whole hotel looked and felt.
You never know how big a room is going to be when you travel but our double room was the perfect size. Equipped with a wardrobe, desk, TV, fridge and a coffee machine, the room had everything that we could ever need to make our stay comfortable. Our bed too was super lush and so snuggly to sleep in!
Our bathroom was uber plush also. With a built-in shower(made for two people, just as we like it), it was styled with marble surfaces and chrome accessories. It even had two sinks which Gary loved and there is even a hairdryer and plenty of towels so no need to bring your own. For extra privacy, the toilet was in a separate room between the bathroom and bedroom which was nice and this works well when you both need to get ready to go out.
Our room also came with its own Parisian style balcony. It was nice to stand out there each morning and get the sunshine on your face and it made our stay feel extra special.
Mon Hotel is definitely a hotel worth staying at. The team were so friendly throughout our whole stay and the hotel is even giving their customers a 10% discount if you book online – so well worth it I say!
