It really was a rather busy weekend for me and Amy recently. With a Crocs campaign to shoot and a hotel to review, we were both pretty beat when we finally sat down to eat at Chiquito in Leicester Square. It was lovely to finally sit down and relax and after a warm greeting and two milkshakes on the way, we felt a little more at ease and ready to enjoy our meal together.
I haven’t been to Chiquito before. There are a fair few dotted around but for some reason, it just hasn’t happened. It was great then to be asked along to the restaurant to review their new menu and as Amy and myself were in London for the weekend, we thought the central London branch would be great to try.
Once we stopped talking about projects, we finally had a glace at the menu to see what we fancied eating.
Only problem was, there were too much gorgeous dishes to choose from! I wasn’t sure if I wanted something spicy or familiar but I eventually decided on some of Chiquito’s loaded potato skins for my starter and the BBQ chicken for my main. Amy opted for chicken enchiladas which looked totally yummy and I was a little jealous of!
My BBQ dish was definitely the best of the night for me but I couldn’t finish my main as I had too many milkshakes which completely filled me up.
Even though this branch of Chiquito’s is in the centre of London, we received a lovely warm and relaxed welcome as soon as we walked in. Both Amy and myself didn’t feel rushed while eating our dinner either as some restaurants in tourist London do sometimes want customers out quickly so they can serve the next lot sooner.
If you haven’t been, you should go. Chiquito has such a great array of meals to offer and their new menu is to die for!
