I met the Fashion Sept girls recently for a review of Le Caprice in London and after stuffing our faces with lovely grub, Beth snapped this rather cute outfit that I wore to lunch.

As pastels are making an appearance for AW, I wanted to try wearing some candy colours against the backdrop of London’s sometimes grey streets.

Inspiration for this look came from this gorgeous suede jacket from Simply Be. With soft leather, it’s a great item for those nippy days and I love the fit and colour. I think it looks pretty rad with my Moschino bag and it will be lovely styled layered with a fluffy scarf and boots.

I haven’t worn Gola’s for a while but with pastels on the brain, these pale blue Harrier’s match my look perfectly. Even though it was the first time I wore them, they were totally comfortable with no rubbing and I love their colour and suede fabric.

I always think that people wear too many dark colours during winter so why not try some pastels and give your look some sweetness.
