As soon as I heard about Cahoots in Kingly Court, Carnaby, I could not wait to go and experience this unique place! As I have a huge love for anything London and historic, this was the perfect pitstop for me and Gary to enjoy some cool and cheeky cocktails.
Cahoots has had a lot of press and hype so it was kind of intriguing to enter this underground fortress and be taken back in time, to a post WW2 London. After descending down the stairs(into the tube) and meeting the ticket inspector, we were whisked off our private tube seats and given menu’s disguised as newspapers. With Cocktails named after movie starlets and drinks served in milk bottles, I finally settled on Dunkin’ for Apples which was a pampero aniversario rum, littet rouge vermouth, cloudy apple juice and salted caramel syrup. I am pretty fussy when it comes to my drinks and love anything sweet so it was great to enjoy this cocktail as much as I did.
The menu and creation of all the different drinks really make Cahoots a cool place to try. With a variety of rums, vodkas and whiskeys mashed together with sweet or sour flavours, I’m sure any night owls will want to try out many of the options on offer to find their perfect Cahoots cocktail.
As well as the amazing menu, the decor was just utterly breathtaking too. With a tube train and platform making up the main seating areas, Cahoots have really gone to town on the historic references and vintage furniture that was all over. I totally fell for all the tube signage and maps that appeared in various spots and the whole general experience of Cahoots is somewhere you will want to experience again and again.
If you fancy going to Cahoots, simply book a table online but be quick as this place is in hot demand!
