DIY – Spray-painted shorts

I have totally been bitten by the DIY bug and decided to do some experimenting with Spray paint!
After a trip to my local craft shop, I bought two cans of acrylic spray paint(one in a mint and one in blue) I pulled out my vintage shorts I had recently purchased from Beyond Retro.

(See picture above for what they looked like before)

I took the shorts outside and sprayed one side in strokes. Make sure you wear something that you don’t mind getting paint on and try not to spray on too thickly. Once you have finished, make sure you leave them out to dry in a warm place(a shed is ideal) and once dry, dip them in cold water to loosen any extra dye and leave them to dry again.
And then you’re done!
What do you think?
