It’s great when the highstreet do festive things on the run up to Christmas and Jack Wills has been planning lots of Christmassy treats nearly every day! I was invited along to one craft event(at the Carnaby Street store) where myself and some other press people got to make some very festive floral crowns! By using a simple wire and some green tape, we were able to make any type of crown that we wished and as many flowers as we wanted too! With an hour slot, it was great to have the time to sit and do something like this but I really got wrapped up in the activity as time totally flew by! Well it does when you are having fun.
As I wanted to make my crown last as long as possible, I used some gold thistle teamed with some creamy-white carnations and overall, I am pretty proud of how my crown turned out. Some of the craft go-ers there opted for some huge and amazing creations but I wanted something a little more subtle. I think the gold really works with the gorgeous carnations and it was great to do something different like this with Jack Wills too. If you have time before Christmas, definitely pop into Jack Wills store in Carnaby street and see what Magic they have happening for you and the family. It is well worth a visit and I am really hoping they do the same next year!
